Directions: From
Hwy 90 in Marianna, FL. Take Hwy 73 South and go 6.8 miles to Lipford Road
(dirt). Turn right and go .3 mile to cemetery. It's on the left in the woods.
Note: Over the years the county has graded this road till
there is a 3 1/2 to 4 foot embankment to get up to the cemetery. Cemetery Is
about 15 feet from the road but lots of trees and underbrush has grown in it.
There are pieces of a fence to outline the cemetery and probably the Union
Church. No trace of the Union Church today. Fellow that has lived in the area
all his life said the church was rotting down and people also tore down what
materials they wanted. There are depressions where the ground has sunk in and
there are probably graves. Only two headstones found now. One was visible, the
one of the child had fallen down. About four inches of dirt and leaves had to
be cleaned off it. Barely readable now.
