Church
Scott Church Baptist Church has nine pews in it. Each on would hold three to four people. 
Five pews on north side, four on south side. Still has pulpit with table in front of it.

Directions: From Marianna courthouse, take 73 south to Laramore Road (paved), 


  
take right turn, go 2.4 miles to Scott Church Road (dirt), 


  
turn  right go .5 mile to church. Scott Church is on the right.      


  
                                              


  
                                                     


  
Scott Church is a little small church at cemetery. It was built from heart 


  
pine boards. It has a tin roof with a very steep pitch.


  
Inside walls and ceiling are finished tongue-in-groove boards. 


  
The floor is rough pine board. There are nine home built pews. 


  
Five on one side and four on the other side. They aren't comfortable. 


  
Three or maybe four people could sit on one.


  
At the front is a nice sturdy, built to the floor pulpit. 


  
On a table in front of the pulpit is a table with the partial remains 


  
of a Bible and song books. There are two drums which had been well used. 


  
Four chairs on floor behind pulpit.


  
 


  
The little church is showing a lot of decay and has not been used for many years.
