Rebecca (Parker) and Benjamin MILES
Descendants with some pictures. A collection of information from all MILES researchers.

I first started looking for the graves of Benjamin Miles and Rebecca Parker Miles in 1985. James and Fanny Ray Reeves sent me up the road, north of Spring Hill Church. Sandra High McLin and I road everywhere looking. Up and down all the back roads between Spring Hill Church and Campbellton. Many times I went back to Jackson County and stayed at the home of Fanny Ray and James Reeves and we talked about the cemetery. I was told that Phillip Farris was the person responsible for pushing up the headstones. I called Mr. Watson on the phone early one Sunday morning and Mr. Watson said he did not know about a Cemetery on the Property (he had bought the property). It was a relief when I was told that June Miles had pushed the finding of the cemetery, through the County Com. meetings, and that the Cemetery was found.
