Who We Are
The Genealogical Society of Okeechobee is a non-profit organization devoted to genealogical research and to the preservation of genealogical, biographical and historic records. The Society meets the second Monday of each month at 1:30 p.m. at the Okeechobee County Public Library.
Dues for membership from January 1 to December 31 are $10 for individual, $12 for family and $5 for single membership under 18.
Receipts from sale of books and other fundraising events are generally donated to the Okeechobee County Library for their use in purposes supportive of genealogical research.
