David Taylor's (Temperance's presumed father) 1843 Will and Estate Sale. He only names his sons by name in the will (David, Jesse, Mills, Martin, etc). No naming of Temperance or the other daughter. However....the estate sale was administered by Mills Taylor and Richard B. Rose (Rose is a close neighbor of John Shelton in1840 census as well), and the estate sale features the Taylor sons, R.B. Rose, and JOHN SHELTON (along with a few others).

John Shelton is featured getting David Taylor's best Colt, a Yoke Oxen, dishes, a pitcher, set of plates, pitcher, tea kettle & cups, table, ??? furniture, clock, books, side of bacon, etc. There are only about 10-15 "buyers", most of whom are family members (Taylors), R.B. Rose, Elizabeth Mason (other daughter maybe?), and a couple others.
