Minutes of September 11, 2006 corrected to include Joey Moore in attendance.
Treasurer's report given. Balance as of 10-02-06 was $5900.84. Report attached.
Buddy also reported on the upstairs a/c. Second evaluation this week. Doesn't look good. More to follow at December mtg.

Bettie is in rehab. Buddy to coordinate membership if Bettie is under the weather.

B. Program Committee- Jay Rhodes
Jay handed out fish fry tickets. Jay will be starting set-up at 8:30 am on 11-04-06. Any early volunteers appreciated. Marvin said he needs a grits stirrer. Katie unable to do this job for this fish fry. Chuck volunteered.
C. Public Relations- Dean Robinson

D. Museum Committee- Dave Perkins
Mike Sanders said he rec'd a phone call from the asst. to City Manager, Bill Baird. He relayed that the city is committed to helping with the homeless problem and vandalism of the museum. John Tsacrios met the new communications officer from CLW Police Dept. last week. He encouraged CHS to call if there are any problems. Teeri to write follow-up letter to Mayor Hibbard. John requested we send a thank you note to Brian Northrupp for his donation of time and skill to repairing the museum. Work day was a success. Many thanks to all who participated.
E. Artifacts and documents Committee- Joan Turner
Preservation- Mike Sanders
J.C. Turner paperwork given by Joe Turner's aunt, Lillian. Joan donated a commerative football program from the high school. Dave Perkins presented The Writings of Clark Wilbur Mills and Friends, a recently published collection. Dave stated that the family and friends associated with the book are donating any profit from saled to CHS. We will sell the collection at the November fish fry. Board decided to sell the books for $10. Marvin Moore donated a CHS annual from 1939 and some old newspapers. Also a Dean Young Blondie strip of people attending a CHS reunion.

Sign up sheet passed around for Saturday shifts at the museum. Terri praised the cleaning and reorganizing of the museum space. Mike Sanders and Lorelei to organize the Bombers display before the fish fry.
Other:
No Cleveland Street bricks have been delivered yet. Bill Wallace arranged for Shirley to meet city workers if any need to be delivered while he is away. Mike Sanders to make display for the fish fry to advertise the sale of the bricks. Mike called Doug Matthews from the city and invited him to the fish fry.
