Look Up Volunteers
Please limit requests for look-ups to one or two items per e-mail and be specific by providing as much information as possible to the volunteer. There is no charge for these look ups, however you may be asked to reimburse copy fees or other expenses if any are incurred. Any arrangements between you and a volunteer should be made prior to the volunteer incurring any expenses on your behalf. These arrangements are strictly between you and the individual volunteer. The USGenWeb Project, The FLGenWeb and the County Coordinator will not be responsible for any disputes arising from these PRIVATE arrangements.
If you have Bradford County resources, please consider volunteering to do Look-ups. To volunteer to perform look-ups, please contact the County Coordinator, Laverne Tornow to be added to the list. Include your Name, e-mail address and the resources you have or the type of look-ups you are willing to do.
If you find a link that is not working, please contact Laverne Tornow.

We would like to thank the former County Coordinator Jim Powell, Jr. for all the hard work and the data that he placed on this website. Jim Powell was the first County Coordinator for Bradford County from 1996 to 2008. He left me with tremendous shoes to fill.
Jim, as an employee of the Alachua County Clerk is responsible for coordinating the effort to use volunteers to index, extract and transcribe all the Alachua County Clerk's old records and place them online to facilitate genealogical and historical research. He has won many awards, the most recent from the Florida State Genealogical Society for those efforts! It was certainly well deserved. THANK YOU JIM!
