Fred, Edith & Effie Hunt
Fred, Edith & Effie Hunt

The grandchildren of Robert Lee Rowe and LaVilla Pendarvius.
Fred and Effie are the children of Samuel D. Hunt and Eliza V. Rowe.
Edith is their 1st cousin and half sister because after Eliza died Samuel married Eliza's sister, Martha E. "Mattie" Rowe. So the children have the same father. Eliza is buried in Woodlawn and Samuel and Martha are buried in Jonesville cemetery, Alachua Co., FL

Addition info from Sharon Liles Barnes Ocala, Florida 5/9/08
Here's a bit of family history : Martha Rowe went to visit her sister, Eliza and her brother-in-law Samuel Hunt. While visiting them, she fell ill of measles (I think it was measles, not whooping cough). Eliza caught the measles from Martha and though Martha survived, Eliza died. Later, Samuel married Martha, and had a second family. Effie and Fred are the children of Samuel and Eliza; the children of Samuel and Martha (Mattie) were sons William Otis, John Darby, Archie, S.D. Jr., and Barnes, and one daughter, Edith. What I recall from family lore, is that Martha died shortly after giving birth to an infant who did not survive very long either. This child is also buried at Jonesville, but there is no marker.
