Six Generations Headed by Bradford's Oldest Resident
Pictured above holding her great-great-great-grandson is Mrs. Rebecca Rosier (estimated age 97), who is believed to be the oldest living resident of Bradford, County. The above picture is even more remarkable in that it groups together six generations, ranging in age from Mrs. Rosier, 97, to Kenneth Lee Carlton, 6 months. Seated at right is Mrs. Rosier's daughter, Mrs. Hester Sapp, 76. Standing (left to right) are Mrs. Sapp's son, J. Q. Rosier, 57; his daughter, Gertrude Cruce, 38, and Mrs. Cruce's daughter, Eula Mae Carlton, 17, the mother of the infant, Kenneth Lee Carlton, 6 months. This picture was taken by the Telegraph at a family gathering at the Willie Reddish home near Lawtey, celebrating J.Q. Rosier's birthday.
