Warren Fay is listed by Orlin, with a very short biography. "At the close of his school education went [from Walpole NH] to what was then, the 'Far West,' Genessee Co., N. Y., built up a large medical practice and a magnificent fortune. He had 9 chil[dren]", whom Orlin then lists, with marriages and grandchildren where Orlin knows of them. The latest event mentioned by Orlin is 1898, the honor of a seat as councilman for Lincoln Nebraska granted to the husband of Maude Lincoln Fay. |

This page picks up the lines where Orlin stops, and continues them further. Along the way, a few things have been corrected in Orlin's account [for example, the name of the second child of Libbie Stevens was Berry Thane Stevens]. As always, this research builds on the work of others (for example, Pat Noble), the LDS entries, and makes extensive use of the census documents and vital records, especially those of Illinois and California, supplemented by obituary biographies. |
