I came to this line because of a name which interested me. I traced him back to Timothy, and then continued one step further to Silas. It seemed to me that there were a several places where the lines could be expanded. I found the first part of the task easy, for Silas was born in Westborough, and there are many records available for Westborough and indeed for Massachusetts. Maine, however, is a different story, and it became more difficult to trace people until the 1850's and beyond, when the census records contained all in the household. According to Genealogy of the des. Of Thom. Gleason of Watertown, Ms. by Lill. May Wilson, 1909, Silas moved to Camden between 1803 and 1804. This book also provides exact dates for Anna, which may need to be modified (see Camden Dates: Silas and Anna Gleason Fay).
