38. Pardon Kise FAY9,10 was born on September 24, 1810 in Sturbridge, MA, or, according to Orlin, in Warren, MA.
He was a teacher and a farmer. He died on July 5, 1876 in Middletown, CT, and was buried in Westfield Cemetery.

He was married to Martha Augusta CLARK (daughter of Timothy CLARK and Sarah or Sally DOWD) on February 16, 1834 in Middletown, CT, by Stephen Topliff.
Martha Augusta CLARK11 was born on February 26, 1814 in Westfield District, Middletown, CT. She died on August 17, 1900 in Middletown, CT, and was buried on August 18, 1900 in Westfield Burying Ground, Westfield, CT, Miner Cemetery.12 Dr Laurence signed death certificate, and the Minister was the Rev. Mr. Hubbard.

Sylvester Wilcox is appointed guardian by this court to Laura Hubbard Clark and Martha Augusta Clark, minor children of Timothy Clark, dec'd., executing bond according to law. Vol 12, p 382, Midltwn Probate Records. about 1818.

William Plumb is chosen as guardian by court to Martha A. Clark, a minor daughter of Timothy Clark, dec'd., executed bond according to law. 1833 Vol 15, p 181. Mdltwn. Probate.

Giles Wilcox is the father of Sylvester Wilcox (will v 16, pg 128-130) Aaron Plum, a witness, William Plum one of the appraisers. 5 Nov, 1838

Clark, Martha A. Fay, and also from estate of Polly Clark, that she left to them in 1833.

42   Timothy Clark FAY was born on July 24, 1835 in Middletown, CT. He died in 1868.14 He was married to Ellen CASSEY in September 1862. She died in 1868.11

55   i. Martha Augusta FAY was born on July 24, 1864 in Middletown, CT.
56   ii. John Cassey FAY was born on August 2, 1866 in Middletown, CT.
   
45    James Pardon FAY was born on April 10, 1843 in Westfield District, Middletown, CT, and died there on November 21, 1930. He was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery, Middletown, CT.
He was married to Annie F. HUBBARD (daughter of Sylvester HUBBARD and Fannie JOHNSON) on April 10, 1866 in Long Hill, Middletown, CT. They were married at the family homestead by the Rev. John Pegg, Jr., pastor of the Methodist Church. Jim Strickland believes that the family homestead was on Huntington Hill Ave. Middletown Press. 1923 Hunting Hill in the city directories.15

Annie F. HUBBARD was born on August 15, 1843 in Long Hill, Middletown, CT. She died on October 9, 1925 in Middletown. She was buried in Pine Grove Cemetery.

47    Martha Augusta FAY was born on July 17, 1853. She died on April 12, 1889 in Hartford, CT, and was buried on April 15, 1889 in Westfield Burying Ground, Westfield, CT.
She was married to Frank TREAT on July 3, 1882.
   
Martha Augusta FAY and Frank TREAT had the following children:
   
60   i. Harry Lee TREAT was born on June 25, 1883 in Middletown, CT.
61   ii. Ellen Fay TREAT was born on February 15, 1885.
62   iii. Belle Galpin TREAT was born on January 16, 1888, and died on February 15, 1888.
   
49    William Henry FAY was born on February 27, 1859 in Middletown, CT, and died there on May 19, 1897. He was buried in Miner Cemetery, Westfield District, Middletown.
He was married to Nellie Adelia LAMB on July 6, 1881.

57    Fanny Emma FAY was born on May 24, 1867 in Middletown, CT, and died there in 1941. She was buried in New Farm Hill Cemetery, Middletown.

She was married to Charles FOUNTAIN (son of Richard D. FOUNTAIN and Phoebe PETIT) on May 15, 1906 in Watertown, CT. Charles16 was born on September 2, 1851 in Middletown and died there on June 20, 1936. He was buried on June 22, 1936 in New Farm Hill Cemetery, Middletown.

Family stories say that a friend of the couple wanted them to be married when the apple trees were in bloom, hence they were married under the apple blossoms at this friend's house in Watertown.

64   Grace FOUNTAIN was born on February 5, 1908 in Middletown, CT. She died on July 1, 1962 in Newton Center, MA. She was buried in Farm Hill Cemetery, Middletown, CT.

She was married to Paul Demosthenes ZOTTU in 1932 in Middletown, CT. Paul Demosthenes ZOTTU was born on March 22, 1906 in Bucharest, Romania. He died on October 2, 1997 in Needham, MA.
   
Grace FOUNTAIN and Paul Demosthenes ZOTTU had the following children:

She was married to Lee Ellsworth STRICKLAND (son of Martin Sands STRICKLAND and Daisy M. CHAPMAN) on October 3, 1930 in Middletown, CT. Lee was born on November 8, 1907 in Poquonnock Bridge, CT. He was baptised on April 8, 1921 in Poquonnock Bridge Baptist Church.17 He died on August 16, 1970 in Middletown, CT, and was buried in New Farm Hill Cemetery, Middletown.
   
Fanny Wilhelmina FOUNTAIN and Lee Ellsworth STRICKLAND had the following children:
