MRS E. G. FAY DIED THURSDAY |

Mrs. Eva Golson Fay, 83, mother of Mrs. W. B. Hubbard, died at midnight, Thursday, at her home at Grandview in Elmore County. Although a resident of this county for about 60 years, she was a native of Coosa County. |
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at two-thirty from the Prattville Presbyterian Church, of which she was a member. Dr. James M. Graham officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetary with Griffin in charge. |
Active pallbearers were Dennis Smith, D. L. Yarborough, Paul Smith, C. G. Smith, Adolph Harris, W. W. Brame, W. D. Devis, and W. J. Judkins. Honorary pall bearers [sic] were James McIntyre, John McIntyre, C. W. Cromwell, Henry C. Fete, Paul T. Sayre, and J. P. Ledyard. |
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. W. B. Hubbard and Mrs. H. J. Golson; three sons, Carl and Henry Fay of Grandview and Dayton Fay, of Montgomery; two brothers, Judge John Golson, of Greenville, and Dr. Henry Golson, of Fort Deposit; two sisters, Mrs. Mollie Stewart of Greenville, and Mrs. Lizzie Miller, of Repton; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
