Sophia, Franklin, Joseph, Lydia and their children are all buried at the Old First Church of Bennington cemetery. Joseph is buried with his first wife, Lydia. He died in 1831. He was a Lt. in the Rev. serving in Col. Bailey's regiment. He was at Valley Forge, among other places.
