The following list of heirs proved very helpful in tracing the descendants of Ambrose Ford. It also provided a mystery in the presence of Lester Hibbard among them, but that in turn helped trace his movements. See Partch and Ford Cousins for further discussion of this line. The handwritten phrase at the bottom is "de bonis non with will annexed." According to the laws of probate, "Where in an estate the administrator has died or the executor has died intestate, an application may be made for a grant of letters of administration de bonis non or of letters of administration de bonis non with will annexed, as the case may be, to complete the estate." The assumption is that M. A. Leonard, named as Executor in the will, is dead at the time of administration.
