I have just received a note from [word?] Major Fay in which he states that the only information he can give relative to the requests in your Circular, refers to hismelf alone. The remarks[?] in your register are correctly given, since the office of Military[?] Store[?] Keeper at Albany was abolished in 1842, he has resided in Albany not engaged in any
