Sandi, going through an old old address book of my grandmother, and s ee an entry: "Clair Evilsizor, Tremont City., OH." It goes on to give a goodly b it of War history, but can't make out whether the entry still refers to th is man or others that follow along. Says there was a major Reunion 41 years ago in Snyder Park, Springfield, OH. The address book is probably composed in the 1950s so so. "10 members Co. B. 3rd Reg., Ohio Natl Guard, 148 th Inf., War 1 - France, T. J. Berry, Capt. Co. B, later a Major - Reunion (41 years ago) in Snyder Park, Springfield, OH." (Anita anitajean@fbs. net)

Mr and Mrs Evilsizor Honored
St Paris- Approximately 200 friends and relatives of Mr and Mrs Clair Evilsizor, 558 Boyce, Urbana, attended the celebration of their golden wedding anniversary, an open house Sunday, June 23, in the social room of the Terre haute Methodist Church. Prior to the reception in Terre haute, Mr and Mrs Evilsizor were surprized with a family dinner at the Top Hat Restaurant, St Paris, arranged by their children and their families. Following the dinner the couple was presented with rememberances from their family including a family tree, and individual family portraits from each of their five children. Those present were their daughter and family, Mr and Mrs Harold Markley (Garnet), Delbert, Darrell and Deanna, St Paris; and their four sons and families, Mr and Mrs Donald Evilsizor, Cheryl, Caren and Todd, Conover; Mr and Mrs Roland Evilsizor, Lois, Tim, Tom, Ted and Lynn, Terre haute; Mr and Mrs Paul R Evilsizor, Kenneth, Jeannie, Donna, Diane and Jeff, Appleton Wisc; and Mr and Mrs Marvin Evilsizor, Danny, Anna and Debbie, Urbana; and Ed Malusic, Bowling Green. Mr and Mrs Evilsizor, both natives of the Terre haute area, were married in Troy June 20, 1918. Mrs Evilsizor is the former Stella Zerkle, daughter of the late Elcena and Wilbu J Zerkle. Mr Evilsizor is the son of Mary and Marley Evilsizor. After their marriage, the Evilsizors moved to a farm on Stoney Creek Road, Urbana, where they resided 44 years. Following Mr Evilsizor's retirement from farming in 1962 they moved to their present address. Mr and Mrs Evilsizor are members of the Terre Haute Methodist Church and have been active in the Terre Haute Grange. Since retirement, much of their time is spent visiting their children and grandchildren. Hostesses for the reception and open house were their granddaughters, the Misses Cheryl Evilsizor, Caren Evilsizor, Lois Evilsizor, Jennie Evilsizor, Lois Evilsizor, Donna Evilsizor, Diane Evilsizor, and Deanna Markley. Guests were served from the reception table covered with a net overlay. An edging of gold accented with white wedding bells trimmed in gold carried out the fiftieth anniversary theme. Gold tapers were used on each side of the four-tiered anniversary cake, baked and decorated by Mr and Mrs Evilsizor's daughter, Mrs Markley was iced in white and trimmed with yellow roses. An arrangement of greenery and yellow carnations circled the cake. Plants and arrangements of yellow flowers were used to decorate the social room and infomal organ music was played as the guests arrived.
