Thomas Clinton Dorsey died March 14, 2008 in Hot Springs Village, AR.He was born in Urbana on March 2, 1931 to parents Carl and Blanche Dorsey. His grandparents were Earl and Gertrude Dorsey also of Urbana and Tom and Effie Flower of Bellefontaine.Tom attended Urbana High School and Miami University in Oxford before entering officer training school in the United States Air Force. After officer training school he entered flight school and flew F-89s and later B-52s. He flew one hundred and twenty seven missions over Vietnam both from the Philippine Islands and Thailand. He retired from the Air Force with the rank of Major.Tom is predeceased by his parents, grandparents and one son Mark Thomas Dorsey. He is survived by a daughter Kathryn Dorsey Hill of Thornton CO, one son Jay Alan Dorsey of Yreka CA, one grandson MM3(SU) James Daley Burke who is currently serving on the USS Henry M. Jackson (SSBN) at Bangor Submarine Base outside Seattle WA, and one sister Mona Dorsey Cline. He is also survived by several cousins including Carolyn Dorsey Spellman and James Earl Dorsey of Urbana.Cremation has taken place and burial will take place at Tahoma National Cemetery outside Seattle WA with full military honors on August 29, 2008.
