Edward CROWL, son of Denton CROWL, prominent resident of Spring Hills was arrested on a charge of forgery of check of Col. David PERRY, auctioneer. His father settled the account. He was about to be released, when two more checks forged on Harry STADLER and George HITT were found. He was arrested and sentenced to Mansfield Reformatory.

Making a Big Hit
Denton Growl is in Demand on Lecture Platform. Mr. and Mrs. Denton Crowl are guests of Mr. Crow!, of East Church street. Denton Crowl will leave late in the week for Overly Kans, where he will begin a series of lectures. He has more than 100 engagements scheduled for the winter. Mr. Crowl still uses his effective impersonation of the late Sam Jones, which made such a hit with all who ever heard the southern evangelist and has also added several other lectures to his list. The local boy is becoming one of the best known lecturers and entertainers in the Lyceum world.
