IN VICTORY’S JOY, SAGINAW MOURNS 407 DEAD  (WWII)

The Saginaw News August 15, 1945

On these pages are listed 281 reported as killed in action, 33 reported as dead of wounds, 9 who died in enemy prisons, 13 who fell victims to disease, 65 who were killed in accidents, 6 who died of varied miscellaneous causes.
 There are also listed here the names of 34 who are still are listed as missing in action, 13 who are recorded by war and navy departments as prisoners of war.
This project is not yet complete.  Please keep checking back for updates!  I wanted you to have access to this important information as a way of honoring our soldiers that served our country during WWII.
