he laid sick for 1 1/2 years and was
crippled with Rheumatism until he died on
the 7th of April 1866 in St. Charles Twp.,
Saginaw County, Michigan. His wife was
Rhoda M. Sanderson

Sanderson, a Civil War veteran, died at the
age of 33 from a wound sustained during
battle. He was buried in the front lawn of
his homestead on the east side of M-52 north
of Brant Rd, but was later moved to the
Riverside Cemetery.
