He served in the 4th Michigan Cavalry  L Company from 8/28/1862 to 7/1/1865. He may have been discharged in Aug. He said he was 18 when he enlisted but he may have been 16 or 17. All I know is he was born in 1846 in Stratford, New York in Fulton County. He died in Saginaw 8/22/1918 and his grave is at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Thanks, Dave Signoretti
