This is a picture of my Great Uncle, Jay Wiltse standing next to the ice wagon.  This is the company he worked for

back in 1910.  I’m not sure if this was his home in the background or not.  At this time in his life he lived on

Remington in Saginaw City according to the 1910 Saginaw census for Saginaw City , Mi.  Do you know anything

about the Saginaw Pure Ice Co.?  I also have 2 photos that were taken at Lyon Photo Studio on Hamilton St. in

Saginaw .  Does this studio ring a bell?  I’ve enjoyed reading all the e-mails that have been posted to the Saginaw site!

My dad lived part of his life with his Uncle Jay and Aunt Marion and their daughter Verna, in Saginaw and Flint . 

I’m learning a lot about Saginaw through all these e-mails!

As a child I took piano lessons from a Mrs. Wiltse that lived on the corner of Sheridan and Remington in the early 1960s.  She was a member of our church and the choir director.  I wonder if she was related to your ancestor Jay Wiltse?  She was very old and I believe died sometime in the 1970s or 80s.
