Saginaw's Past

Hi --
I attended Holy Family School during 7th grade -- one of the happiest years for me -- 1960.
I think this is a picture of the school, not the church, unless there was an earlier or different church. The church next to the school looked like a regular Catholic Church (somewhat large and fancy) . We went to Mass there every day, and the 7th grade was the choir responsible for singing High Mass (everyday). I learned a lot about music and also some Latin that year. Recently I learned something about how we see people. I came across a photo of Sister Nathan, who was the music teacher. My whole life I have remembered her as young and beautiful. The photo showed her as young, but definitely not beautiful. I guess I was remembering her beautiful voice and loving personality.
I don't remember the street name where the church and school were, but it was across from a large park with an ice skating rink.
