You have some good pictures of the old A.H.H.S. They are some that were copied from our Legenda. My wife and I graduated from there in 1937. We have a 1937 and 1935 Legenda with those pictures. The Main building was located on the SE corner of Court and Harrison, across from the First Presbyterian Church. The Annex (the building whose picture is just above the words, Arthur Hill High School, with a tree in the entrance, was located on the NW corner of Fayette and Adams. My wife believes the Social Hall (where they had the girl's gym, was across the road, by the old John Moore. The Annex was used for school public affairs, gym classes, noon tea dances, and even for Cub Scout meetings in the evening. There was a balcony inside that also had a track on it for running around the inside of the building. The picture in the Legenda (which you have) shows a public-school meeting of something in the Annex. - Freeman Coats
