Your picture appears to have been photographed
from the tower of the Main building, looking NW to John Moore. Students had
no lockers at AHHS and when classes changed, they often had to walk to
another building (some classes were held in the John Moore) and carry
everything (including coats) to the other building and classroom. In cold
weather, they would be wearing their coats and hats.. This was quite an
improvement when they got the new school building that had lockers. -
