St. Michael the Archangel's is situated in a rural setting. The chancel is 12th C. The south tower, set trancept-wise, is Early English and Dec style. It has three stages, with diagonal buttresses, a pierced parapet, and pinnacles, and a spire which had to be rebuilt circa 1870. The chancel arch has jamb shafts with floriated capitals, the inner ones stopped on corbels. The font is late 17th C and consists of a rectangular bowl with scalloped and gadrooned sides, on an octagonal stem. The pulpit is stone, 1877. The stained glass east window of 1856 is by Thomas Willement.

There are wall tablets, illustrated here, dedicated to William Perry and his wife Mary; Reverend John Walker Jones and his wife Mary Anne; Mary Hull; Elizabeth Perry; Sarah Bevan and George Martin.
