St. Thomas of Canterbury church comprises chancel, nave, north aisle , south porch and west tower. There is a blocked Norman north doorway but generally the church is Early English. There is a 14th C north arcade of four bays; octagonal piers with moulded abaci and arches with two chamfered orders. The tower is 13th and 14th C with diagonal buttresses; renewed parapet and pinnacles. The church was restored in 1846 by R.C.Carpenter; and again in 1889 by J.D. Sedding. There is a striking modern Millennium stained glass window in the church; and also glass by Clayton & Bell, 1886 and Wailes, 1852. The illustrated font is 19th C.
