St. Martin's is a small church in a beautifully remote setting. It consists of chancel, nave with bellcote, and south porch. The interior walls are scraped. The north vestry was added in 1933 by G.W. Atkinson. The font is a 13th C tub-shaped bowl on a 19th C pillared base. There is stained glass in the chancel by Warrington & Co., 1887 - and in the nave by James Powell & Sons, dating from 1914 on the north side and 1919 on the west side.
