St. Mary's, 1957, is by H. Stratton Davis. It is a small church built of Cotswold materials, coursed rubble with freestone quoins. There is a stone bellcote and stone-slated roof. The interior is lime-washed. The stained glass east window is by Edward Payne 1958. The original Birdlip church stood at another location in the village and has been demolished. The vicar of the previous church was Rev Atkinson and it was his wife that laid the memorial stone in the porch of the new church in 1957.
