This is the last will and Testament of me William Russell of the parish of Sithney  in the County of Cornwall Carpenter I desire that my body be decently Interred at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named and will that my Just debts funeral charged unto the Expenses of proving this my last will be in the first place fair and discharged by my said Executors.

I Give and bequeath unto my dear wife Mary the dwelling House and premises which I have lately built in Vyvyans Row in the Church Town of the parish of Camborne during her natural life, with power for her to give the same unto such person or persons as she shall chuse and by her last will and Testament in writing. But my will is and I do hereby direct that my said wife shall not at any time or times sell assign transfer mortgage or Give the same or any part thereof to any person or persons whomsoever in her life time nor in or by any other way or means than by will as aforesaid and in case of her dying Intestate then my will is and I do hereby further direct that the said dwelling House and Premises shall go to and belong to my several children and grandchildren hereinafter named in such manner and in such and the like proportions as the residue of any property is hereinafter directed to be distributed amongst them after the decease of my said wife.

I Give and bequeath all my household and other Goods and Furniture working Tools Uttensils and Stock in trade Sum and Sums of Money Bills Bonds Notes Receipts and other Securities for money Goods Chattels Credits and Effects of whatsoever nature or kind or wheresover situate the same may be of which I shall be possessed or over which I shall have a disposing power at the time of my death unto my said Dear wife during her natural life Subject as hereinafter is Expressed and declared of and concerning the same with power for her to sell and dispose of all or any part of my said working Tools Uttensils Stock in Trade and Household Goods and Furniture at such time or times and in such manner as she my said wife shall chuse after my death But my will is and I do hereby particularly direct and declare that she my said wife shall not at any time or times draw out, call in, take up or receive all or any part of any such principal money or monies as shall be at the time of my death out upon Security or at Interest in any Bank or Banks or in the hands of any person or persons whomsoever whether the same be upon or be Secured by any Bill or Bills, Bond or Bonds, Note or Notes, Receipt or Receipts or other Security or Securities But shall have accrue and take the dividends Interest and annual proceeds thereof only during her natural life as aforesaid and from and immediately after the decease of my said wife Then my will is and I do hereby direct that all such of my said Household and other Goods and Furniture as shall not be sold by my said wife as aforesaid and all such principal Sum and Sums of money so secured or to be secured as aforesaid and all Interest to be come due and payable in respect thereof after the decease of my said wife aforesaid shall go to and be distributed ( as soon as conveniently may be after the decease of my said wife )  amongst my children and Grandchildren, to and for their own sole use and benefit in manner following, that is to say,  two eighth parts or shares thereof the whole into eight equal parts to be divided unto my Daughter Christian the widow of John Thomas of  Falmouth, two eighth parts or shares thereof unto my Daughter Frances the wife of George Bosustow of the said parish of Sithney, two eighth parts or shares thereof unto my Daughter Elizabeth the wife of Benjamin Endean of Camborne, one eighth part or share thereof unto my Daughter Mary Ann the wife of Richard Stephens of Sithney aforesaid and the remaining or eighth part or share thereof unto my Grand children Ann ~ Celia ~ and Frances ~ Pascoe the children of my Daughter Celia deceased share and share alike and in case either of my said Daughters Christian Frances and Elizabeth shall happen to die before my said wife then my will is and I do hereby direct that the share or shares of her or them so dying shall go to and belong to her or their children respectively, if more than one child share and share alike and if but one child then to such one and only child, and the receipt and receipts of my said children and Grandchildren respectively shall be a sufficient discharge to all and every such person and persons as shall or may the said principal money or monies or any part thereof in his her of their hands or their possession at Interest or otherwise as aforesaid.

And Lastly I do hereby make ordain constitute and appoint my said wife Mary  and the said George Bosustow Executors of this my last will and Testament and I do hereby revoke and make void all former and other will and wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this only to be my last will and Testament In writing whereof I have at the bottom of the two first sheets of this my will the whole whereof is contained in three sheets of paper subscribed my name and to this third and last sheet set my hand and affixed my seal this fifteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six.
