 1806 April ye 7th

In the Name of god Amen I James Russell of the Parish of Sithney In the County of Cornwall Being of Sound and Disposing mind and Memory But Weak in Body and Considering the Uncertainty of Life, I Do Make and ordain This my last will and Testament in manner and form following  (that is to say) I Recommend my Soul into the Hand of Almighty god my Creator hopeing through the Merrits and Intercession of my Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ to obtain Pardon For all my sins and my Body to the Earth to be Decently Buried at the Discretion of my Executors hereafter named, and as touching my worldly goods wherewith it Hath Pleased god to bless me with, I give and Dispose in manner and form following

First I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Mary the Sum of one Pound five shillings lawful money of great Britain to be paid by my Executors at the end of one year after my Decease

Also I give and Bequeth to my Daughter Lucey the Sum of one Pound five Shillings Lawful Money of great Britain to be Paid as before Mentioned and on farther Consideration I give my Daughter Lucey one good bed and beding compleat, to be Dilivered her at the end two Calinder months after my Decease, unless she shall chuse to leave it longer

Also I give and Bequeth to my Daughter Ann the Sum of One Pound & five Shillings Lawfull money of great Britain to be paid at the end of one year after my Decease

Also I will that my youngest Son Thomas be Carefully Brought up to a Trade, Shuch Common Mechanic as he shall Chuse to be supported at the Expence of my Executors at their Discretion and Also I give My son Thomas the sum of Twenty Pounds Lawful Money of great Britain to be Paid By my Executors when he shall Arive to the age of Twenty one years

Lastly All the rest Residue and Remainder of my goods and Chattles Messuage Tenements of what Nature or kind soever and wheresoever Lying not herein Before by me given and Disposed of I give and bequeth to my Lawful Wife Lucey Russell and my Eldest son James Russell whom I do hereby make Ordain Constitute and appoint my Whole and Sole Executrix and Executor Jointly of this my Last will and Testament hereby Revoking All former wills by me heretofore made hereby Requireing my said Executors to Perform and fullfill this my Last will and Testament by Dischargeing and Paying the Said Several Legacies and Bequests By Me hereby given in witness where of I have this my Last will and Testament set my hand and seal the Eighth Day of april in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Six
