Frank LANKSHEAR
Pte Frank LANKSHEAR, S/7140 Royal Army Ordnance Corps attd 6th Squadron Royal Flying Corps. Died of wounds received in aerial combat 21 August 1917 aged 22. He was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth LANKSHEAR of 13 Poyser Street, Cambridge Heath, London. Born in Bermondsey and enlisted in London.
Remembered at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium - XVII K 19A.
Frank was a grandson of Elizabeth SHAW from Banbury: Elizabeth married John LANKSHEAR in 1838
