Transcript of Court Roll for the Manor of Adderbury

The Manor of Adderbury
In the County of Oxford The 12th day of Aprill 1734

To wit Thomas Judd one of the customary tenants of the said Manor doth surrender into the hands of the Lord of the said Manor by the hands of John Eddowes Gentleman one other of the customary tenants of the Manor aforesdaid all those his three lands of arable and one mower of meadow ground lying in Hillsend and Ffellmeades meadow with their and every of their appurtenances and common of pasture for one horse and one cow thereunto belonging to be had and taken in the open and common fields of Adderbury the East within the said Manor.

To the use and behoofe of Robert Gardner & Sarah his wife for and during the term of their natural lives and from and after the decease of the survivor of them to the use and behoofe of John Gardner son of the said Robert & Sarah and the heirs of his body and for want of the right heirs of the said Robert Gardner forever according to the custom of the said Manor.

In witness whereof he hath hereunto set his hand the day and yeare first above written
