Manor Rectoria Eadburby Adderbury in Co Oxon

8 October 1712

“Richard James of Adderbury aforesaid Hemp dresser a customary tenant of the said Manor doth surrender into the hands of the Warden and Fellows of New College in Oxon Lords of the said Manor by the hands of John Belsher one other customary tenant of the said Manor All that his one land of arable ground with the appurtenances thereunto belonging lying near a certain place called Gawne hedge the ground of Thomas Judd lying on the East part thereof situate and being within the said Manor and now in the possession of the said Richard James his assignes or assignes. To the use and behoofe of Hannah Bly daughter of Thomas Bly of the West side of Adderbury aforesaid Miller and of her heirs and assignes for ever according to the custom of the said Manor. In witness whereof the said Richard James hath hereunto set his hand the day and year first above written.”
