The Life and Times of William Francis 'Frank' Billing
Anne Williams
"The Life and Times of William Francis 'Frank' Billing" tells the story of a local character, who live in Adderbury, Oxfordshire for most of his life, until he died in 1979.
Frank got ready for the day at 7a.m. winter or summer after his morning wash in cold water. Frank cooked his own breakfast of bacon and egg with a bit of fried bread. He gets his coat off the hook from behind the back door, and his old red bag from the cupboard under the stairs; handles which were repaired with bag string. He put the bag on his bicycle, already for work on his seventy acre farm. The farm was along the Milton Road on the way to Bloxham.
