Joan Caffey, lifetime Pueblo resident, passed away unexpectedly at her residence, Nov. 24, 1999. Born and reared at Pueblo, Mrs. Caffey was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1949. Member Central Christian Church and lifetime member Colorado FCE and Dandelion FCE and St. Charles Mesa FCE. Also member Order of Eastern Star No. 7, and was sales representative of Avon Cosmetics. Survived by her husband, Richard, of the family home; two sons, Jim Caffey, Pueblo West, and Dr. David Caffey, Albuquerque, N.M.; grandchildren, Kelly (Brandon) Colbert, Jessica Caffey, Pueblo West, Jared (Tracy) Caffey, Denver, Mike Caffey, Nick (Naomi) Caffey, Albuquerque, N.M.; great-grandchildren, Courtney and Kyle Colbert, Pueblo West, Brendon Caffey, Albuquerque, N.M.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gary (Phyllis) Caffey, Dean (Sam) Samuels and Mildred (Don) Markowski, Frank (Karen) Caffey, All of Pueblo. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home. Service, Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, 2 p.m., Rose Chapel. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
