Davilla. -- Gunfire killed Mrs. Doris Crow, 39 and woonded her three children yesterday at Davilla, in Central Texas. State police said members of the family reported a man who fired the shots also wounded himself. The shooting occured at Mrs. Crow's home.

Children of Mrs. Crow struck by bullets are Mary Louise Crow, 16, reported in serious condition, and Mrs. Velma Cook, 21, and Danny Crow, 20, both said to be in fair condition. They were taken to a Temple hospital.

At a Taylor clinic officers subsequently placed a man identified by state police as Oscar Cook, 27, of Temple in custody for questioning. He had been shot in the chest and attendants said his condition was critical.

State police said Cook is the former husband of Mrs. Velma Cook and was released earlier in the day after being jailed at Cameron on a disturbance complain. No charges have been filed in the shooting.
