About Earlene (Earline) Caffey:
EARLENE ALEXANDER Earlene Alexander, 67, of Bronte passed away Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, in San Angelo. Earlene
was born on April 11, 1938, in Ballinger and married Eddie Roe Alexander on July 1, 1955.
She
was longtime owner and operator of Margaret's Flower Shop in Bronte. Earlene was a member of the Central
Baptist Church, where she taught different youth groups. She had served on the Bronte Housing Authority
Board, the Bronte Merchants Association for 24 years and the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
She was named Citizen of the Year in Bronte in 1996. Earlene was a loving wife, mom and grandmother.
She had a way of making everyone she met feel special.
She was preceded in death by her mother,
Martha Caffey; and her father, W.T. Caffey. Earlene is survived by her husband, Eddie Alexander
of Bronte; her son, Wayne Alexander and daughter-in-law Beverly Alexander of Robert Lee; and her three
very special grandchildren, Jennifer Alexander of Abilene, Josh Alexander of Mooresville, N.C., and
Jaden Alexander of Robert Lee. She is also survived by her sister, Jean O?Dell of Winters; and brothers
Bub Caffey of Wingate and Bill Caffey of Baird.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Monday, Nov.
7, at the Central Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
