will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs.
Eiland went to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
She was
a loving wife to her husband, R.B. Eiland, for 61 years; a devoted mother to her daughter, Janice Eiland
(Donald) Gray, and son, Eric (Jody) Eiland; a wonderful grandmother to her only grandchild, Sideana
(Chad) Cook White, and a doting great-grandmother to Elia Claire White; sister-in-law, Ruby Lee Yarbrough;
nieces, Frankie Jo Williamson and Sandra Johnson; eight step-grandchildren, Lacy Harrison, James W.
Hughes, Brittany N. Hughes, Courtney A. Hughes, Whitney C. Hughes, Wesley Gray, Dean Gray and Morgan
White.
She was preceded in death by her parents, C.W. and Ruby Mae Yarbrough; brother, Curtis;
and sister, Lucille Siniard. Her entire life she was a devoted member of several churches, Henry
Street Baptist, Walnut Park Baptist, Litchfield Avenue Baptist, Bethany Baptist, Reece City Baptist,
and for the last 34 years, Lookout Avenue Baptist, where she served as their organist and/or pianist
and in various other capacities, such as Sunday School director and teacher, to name a few, but always
alongside her husband, R.B., as minister of music. She will remain with us always through all the hearts
and lives that she touched with her outstanding musical talents and her love for serving the Lord. Her
family is very grateful for the loving friendship and support of her church family and also appreciate
the doctors and SICU staff at Gadsden Regional Medical Center involved in her care. The family will
receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Published in
