About Myrtle Frances Eiland:
Miss Myrtle Frances Eiland age 88 of Pascagoula, MS died Sunday September 10, 2006 in the Plaza Nursing
Center. Born in Pascagoula August 22, 1918 to the late Walter David and Phillipa Alice ?Ankey? Krebs
Eiland, she was a life long resident of Pascagoula. She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic
Church. Mrs. Eiland was the first resident of the Plaza Nursing Center 28 years ago.
Among her
survivors are cousins Isabelle Millette, William Gardner, Mary Gardner, and Joe Gardner. She is also
survived by many friends who loved her very much, especially Kathryn Webb of Pascagoula. Pallbearers
will be Bill Gardner, Joe Gardner, Bill Millette, Bernard Millette, Joe Millette, and Mike Krebs. Joe
Webb will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday Sept.
12, 2006 from the chapel of O?Bryant-O?Keefe Funeral Home with Father Michael Kelleher officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Machpelah
Cemetery.
