SAN ANTONIO ? Mr. Clyde Harmon, 72, of Ingram, died on Friday, July 16, 2004, in a San Antonio hospital. Mr. Harmon, a resident of Ingram for 25 years and a prior resident of Brady, was born on Jan. 20, 1932, in Odem, Texas, to Floyd Harmon and Della Phillips Harmon. He married Lola Beatrice Rolan on June 13, 1980, in Mason. She preceded him in death on Dec. 6, 1995. He was a pest control equipment operator. Clyde served his country during the Korean War as a Corporal in the United States Army. He enjoyed living, loved fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his mother, Della Patton, of Graham; daughters, Mary Harmon and Connie Harmon, both of Abilene; son, Billy Harmon and wife, Deborah, of Abilene; step-daughters, Linda Stanley and husband, Mike, of Houston, Karen Dunaway of Giddings, and Sharla Voulgaris and Holly Miears, both of Ingram; step-sons, Tommy Gage, of Abilene, Michael Gage and wife, Denise, of Medina and Bryant Gage and wife Teresa, of Ingram; sisters, Sue Carter, Mary Whise, Della Hill and Faye McDonald; brothers, Ford Harmon and Freddy Harmon; 23 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Melissa Dyanne Feller.

The family will receive friends at the Grimes Funeral Chapels on Monday, July 19, 2004, from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, with Bryant Gage, officiating. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
