HYDE, Jr., Jesse W. of Hereford. Age 71. Died 3/14/1987 in the Amarillo VA Hospital after a lengthy
illness. Services held 3/16 in Rose Chapel. Burial in West Park Cemetery. Rev. Eddie Tingle, Pastor
of Avenue Baptist Church officiated. Gilliland-Watson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. He was
BORN 10/6/1915 in Thorndale, son of J.W. Hyde and Sadie Caffey Hyde. Moved to Hereford from Wilson in
1933. Married Irene Grimes on 8/23/1936 and was a veteran of WW-2. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Patsy Fowler
of Hereford; 3 sisters, Glennie Lankford and Gwendolyn Patterson, Lubbock; and Carmen Yeager of Rockdale;
