About Eula N Wayman:
DUNKIRK - Eula N. Caffey, age 82, of Moore Ave., died on Sunday March 6, 2005 at Ball Memorial Hospital.
She
was born in Dunkirk, IN on October 19, 1922 to Ervin and Stella (Hamilton) Wayman. She married Leslie
O. Caffey, who is deceased. She was a lifetime resident of the area. A 1940 graduate of Dunkirk High
School, Mrs. Caffey worked and retired from Kerr Glass in 1976. Memberships include the Dunkirk Moose
Womens Auxiliary, where is was a past Senior regent. American Legion Auxiliary Dunkirk, and the First
American Baptist Church. She also enjoyed the watching and cheering on her Pacers Basketball and was
an avid Bingo player at the AM Vets in Muncie.
She leaves to cherish her memory and her unconditional
love, one daughter, Candice Griffith (husband-Ernest), Dunkirk; one brother, Harold Wayman (wife-Ellie),
Okeechobee, FL; grandchildren, Tami Labig-Duquette (husband-Mike), Dunkirk, Angela Stancil (husband-Glen),
Houston, Tx and Tricia Goodwin, Dunkirk; great grandchildren, Karen, Collin, and Ellysa Duquette, Christian
Mendiola, all of Dunkirk, and Cameron Leslie Stancil, Houston, Tx; and several nieces and nephews. WE
WILL LOVE YOU ALWAYS! She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Leslie O. Caffey (2004);
three sisters, Violet Wayman, Eva Faye Benbow, and Pansy Small; one great-granddaughter, Lyndsey Labig.
Funeral
services will be Thursday, March 10, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at M.J.S. Mortuaries-D.W. Jones Chapel, Dunkirk.
