About Clarence Mixon Bane:
C M Bane Clarence Mixon Bane, 64, of Rt. 2, Andalusia, died in an Opp hospital on Thursday, July
21. Funeral services were held at 10 am Saturday, July 23, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with the
Rev. Monroe Sasser officiating, with interment inthe Mt. Gilead Cemetery. Foreman's directed. Music
was by a trio consisting Larry, Betty and Jewel Sasser, accompanied by Ray Sasser. Masonic rites were
held at graveside by New Home Lodge No. 743 with I. D. Barton serving as worshipful master. Mr Bane
is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Bane of Rt. 2, Andalusia; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Brown, Andalusia,
Mrs. Theresa Moore, Opp, Mrs. Janice Snyder of Honduras, Central America, Mrs. Lorena Ruff, Waynesville,
N. C.; one son Marcel Bane, Rt. 2, Andalusia; one sister, Mrs. Foy Chandler, Luverne; one brother,
Hollis Bane, Saraland; six grandchildren. Pallbearers were R. W. Tinsley, Chester and Bill Carlyle,
Albert and Gene Baisden, and O. D. Worley.
