WELLINGTON - Oren O. Rogers, 87, died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with Dr. Kevin Everett, pastor, and the Rev. Harry Stallings officiating. Burial will be in North Fairview Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Mr. Rogers was born Sept. 14, 1921, in Paris, Ark., to Oscar O. and Lydia T. Dorough Rogers. He married Thelma Popwell on June 21, 1947, in Hollis, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cleta Freeman of Wellington; three sisters, Fern Schultz of El Reno, Okla., Lajuana Sullins of Comanche, Okla., and Laura Woodruff of Elk City, Okla.; three brothers, John Rogers and Wiley Rogers, both of Amarillo, and Oliver Rogers of Rockwall; two grandsons; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
