Ms.
Mary Ruth Eiland, 57, of Kilmichael, died Jan. 29, 2001 of congestive heart failure at Tyler Holmes
Memorial Hospital in Winona. She was a home health nurse.
Funeral services were held Feb 3 at
Ed Roberts Chapel of Remembrance in Winona with the Rev. Jimmy Lewis Forrest officiating. Burial was
in Old Grocer's Cemetery near Kilmichael. Ms. Eiland is survived by one son, Antonio Eiland of Memphis;
three daughters, April Nash and Tasha Eiland, both of Kilmichael; Bemadette Nash of Memphis; four brothers,
Archie Eiland of Kilmichael; Walter Eiland of Vaiden; Steve Eiland of Galveston, Texas; Jack Eiland
of Indianapolis, Ind.; and 11 grandchildren.
