About Martha Dorine Tonioli:

Dorine Dunlavy
Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Martha Dorine Dunlavy, age 92, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, in Tooele. She was born Feb. 16, 1915, to Lewis and Isabel England Tonioli. She married Frank Caffey Dunlavy in Tooele, Oct. 1, 1937, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on Oct. 1, 1956. Dorine lived her entire life in Tooele and was the oldest of six children. She graduated with the THS class of 1933.

She cherished her membership in the church and served in various ward callings including Relief Society president. Dorine retired from the Tooele Army Depot where she worked in both the munitions and supply divisions. She enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the world through the BYU travel study tours. She was a longtime member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and also was active with her husband in the Settlement Canyon Chapter of the Sons of Utah Pioneers. Dorine also enjoyed the countless hours she spent volunteering at the Tooele Valley Rest Home visiting and helping with handicrafts.

She is survived by her three children, Deanna (Marty) Sloan of Riverside, Calif., Jeanette (Archie) Walker of Tarboro, N.C., Michel (Kitty) Dunlavy of St. George; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Jackie (Lister) James of Dawson, Texas, and Mary (Curt) Johnson of Bountiful; sisters-in-law, Lucille Tonioli and Erma Tonioli, both of Tooele; and numerous nieces and nephews.
