About George William Eiland:
SAN ANTONIO - George William Eiland, 71, formerly of Brownwood, died Thursday in a Houston hospital.
Graveside
services will be at 1 p.m. today in the Greenleaf Cemetery in Brownwood, directed by Davis-Morris Funeral
Home.
Mr. Eiland was born in Paint Rock. He was a graduate of Howard Payne University and a retired
Baptist minister. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. Survivors include one son,
George Eiland, Jr., of Rusk; two daughters, Glennette McKinnon and Ginger Bourque, both of Orange;
stepchildren, Colleen Eiland and Edward Eiland, both of San Antonio; sister, Anemone Raiborn of San
Angelo; and three grandchildren.
