Charles Vernon Eiland Jr.

Charles V. Eiland Jr., 77, formerly of Houston, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006. He was the first born child of Vernon and Amie Eiland on Mother?s Day, May 12, 1929. He owned C. Eiland Machine in Houston until moving to Jones Creek. He served the Lord Jesus with gladness.

He is survived by son David L. Eiland of Fort Worth; daughter Pam Aldrich and husband, Terry, of Jones Creek; eight grandchildren, Luke, Hannah, Caleb and Andrew Eiland of Fort Worth and Coleman, Alyssa, Bethany and Delayna Aldrich of Jones Creek; brother Roy Eiland and wife, Irene, of Pearland; sister Shirley Culpepper and husband, Ipo, of Jacksonville, Texas; many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 9, 2006, at Stroud Funeral Chapel in Clute with the Rev. Tom Proctor officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston.Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to service time.
